Indications:

It is used in cattle, horses, cats and dogs to remove fluid from the body in case fluid accumulation in tissue spaces and the treatment of all types of edema. Acute pulmonary edema; cerebral edema; breast edemas related to mastitis and agalaxis; edema due to renal failure; edema due to injuries and burns; infectious necrotic hepatitis; acute fasciolasis; umbilical cord inflammation in new-borns; pericarditis traumatic; barbiturate and salt poisoning; autotoxications; metabolic acidosis from mechanical obstruction and heart failure; exercise- induced pulmonary hemorrhages in racehorses; hypertensions; edema due to snake, scorpion, bee and insect stings; Furosemide is indicated for non- inflammatory pathological fluid accumulations such as ascites and hydrothorax, other conditions requiring diuresis. The use of diuretics in the indication areas is symptomatic. In these cases, specific treatment for the disease agent should not be neglected.
